Doing the alternator gasket replacement, anything else to check/replace?

As the title says, I'll be tearing into the 545i this weekend and was wondering if there is anything else I should look for while I have it apart. It's already had the upper and lower timing cover gaskets replaced as well as the VCGs and a new water pump. Other than that, anyone who has done this job before with tips or tricks please post.
