- 2003 BMW e39 540i V8 M-Sport Package, titanium silver exterior, black premium leather interior (final production year, which many say was their best e39 model)
- 88K miles (mostly highway), automatic transmission
- M-Tech Sports Package with M-Tech suspension
- 18" M-Parallel Wheels (forged aluminum wheels)
- Xenon headlamps, moonroof
Upgrades:
- BMW factory M-Tech sports steering wheel (tri-color stitching)
- BMW factory brushed aluminum interior trim
- BMW factory leather wrapped gear shift knob
- Dinan sport exhaust specifically designed for 2003 540i with M-Sport Package (installed 6 months ago)
- Dinan cold air intake (installed 6 months ago)
- Alpine CDE-HD149BT (CD receiver with bluetooth, HD radio, Sirius XM Radio) (installed 5 months ago)
- Alpine MRX-V70 amp 4x90W + 1x350W X Power series (installed 5 months ago)
- Focal P130 V15 Performance 2 way component front speakers, Made In France (installed 5 months ago)
Recent service this year (among many others in the past):
- Regular oil changes
- New BMW factory battery
- New front door lock actuators
- New front & rear brake pads
- New rear brake rotors
- New coolant tank reservoir
What needs attention (that I'm aware of):
Driver's side sunshade sometimes comes loose
Front passenger seat adjustment needs servicing
As you can see, I've babied this car having put in several thousands of dollars worth of service and recent upgrades (Dinan exhaust, Dinan CAI, Alpine and Focal audio equipment). While this is the best car I've ever driven, I recently moved and unfortunately need a smaller vehicle. So my loss is your gain. I've priced this car to sell, so please no low ball offers. There is not another 2003 BMW 540i with M-Sport package currently on the market that can come close to the condition of this car.
