Is there a difference in coupe and sedan twisties?

Yes I believe so.
They are not interchangeable, but wait for someone more knowledgable here to confirm this.
I think a sedan is better than a coupe IN the twisties.:D

Measured both my coupe and sedan, both are just under 78 inches, should be the exact same part.

No measurable difference. If a coupe and a sedan had identical modifications and drivers of equal driving level and the coupe had better tires, the coupe would do better. If the sedan had better tires it would do better.

Yeah that's why I said wait for confirmation. Crazy that the twisty side skirts would be the same dimensions for coupe and sedan.

I believe that there is measurable difference in chassis rigidity. That's why many track cars start with a sedan chassis.

I'm sorry friends...I was inquiring about the side moldings / panels along the bottom side of our cars that are unique to the E36M. Some refer to them as twisties or twistys.
Are the coupe panels the same as sedan? I had a little trouble (maybe could have tried harder) figuring it out on realoem.com and decided to come here, be lazy, and ask.

^ Thank you!
Sorry to derail the thread with my comment (in jest)! Here's an additional comment that's subject-appropriate, but maybe not relevant: my sedan has so-called "twisties" on it. That's because it doesn't have the luxury package, which came with a more linear side skirt design. So even if the parts are interchangeable between sedan and coupe, there are two styles to choose from. I personally think the "twisties" look more aggressive.
