My car used to have leak at the bottom of the Manifold and used to make this beautiful noise I so wish it was never fixed :(

Lol, funny thread this is.

I remember when one of my dad's old car had a drive belt that was on it's way out. Make the car sound like a space/air craft of some sort under acceleration. That was a cool problem I guess (until the belt shreds itself).

My E36 had a speaker whistling in sync with my engine revs and a dirty fuel filter that made the revs hang a bit. I learned to drive manual on that car. Those 2 things made rev matching on downshifts easier. Had to relearn shifting timing after I fixed those issues.

My X5's electric fan (for reasons unknown to me) is very loud and takes a long time to wind down. When you shut down the car, the fan spools down and sounds like a turbine. It's kind of neat.

Not really a problem, but my windscreen washer-fluid is low, which makes me have to push the check panel button.
If I drive off without having to push it, I'll have this feeling that I'm forgetting something that lasts for quite a while. Call me addicted to it.. :D

Don't know if this really is a "problem", but my bimmer now has all sort of rattling noise in the cabin. The car is fine mechanically, but as it ages, parts inside the cabin become loose. Some WD40 should do the trick.
