Apologies if there is another thread about this already but i just need someone to help me also with this. I have a 1996 M3 that I have been tacking to track days and AutoX events for a while now and while its a good time i really want to make the next step to wheel to wheel racing. The car isnt a ripped out racer but I have quite a few upgrades, m50 manifold, Dinan stage3 ecu, all new race suspension (shocks, springs, sways, ect), brakes, racing seat, helmet, hans, the lot and if i ever did wheel to wheel the car i would have no problem ripping out the interior to lighten her up. The problem im having is i dont know where to go from here, Im looking into getting my SCCA license but i dont know what club to join or what course of action to go about with the car i have. Any guidance would be great!

Apologies if there is another thread...

Try the Track, Auto-X & Drag Racing sub-forum.

In my opinion the best path for this would be BMC CCA HPDE's to the Advanced level and then the CCA Racing school. Unlike other organizations, CCA doesn't require a full-up race car and all equipment for the school.
