I kinda like the sound of this 735i: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/4080615920.html
but the posting is so poorly written, and the owner thinks he has a serious gem. I don't think I've ever seen a 745i of that era sell for that much money. I believe he has 140K on the odo, and some service records. I know there is no way in hell a M30B34+4hp22 is worth $7000.

yea, looks sorta clean from the crappy small pictures he posted. almost nil on information, ask him what hes got done to it thats "too much to list" (stupidest comment to put in a for sale ad)

He really didn't reply with anything other than "its super clean". A/C doesn't work. I sent him an offer of $3000 and he was about ready to shoot me. I'm just checking here to make sure I really didn't lowball insult the guy.

well if he isnt willing to give any information about all the things hes supposedly done to the car, then he may as well not have done them.

I'd pay that for an absolutely mint, really low mileage e23. It's somewhat worth it as a collector piece, but as a car to drive ... buy an e38 for that money ...

That car is worth maybe $2000 or so, that guy is insane for asking that much. If your lookin for euro e23 go 745i. Start lookin around the e23 section for more info.

its just a standard 735i with euro bumpers. if it was a 745i maybe 4500, but for that like 1500 max

Yeah he wouldn't take 3000 I doubt he'd even respond to 1500 or 2000. I tried reasoning with him, that the price he is asking for is mint 745i territory, but he wouldn't have it. Oh well.

Yeah just about 75 percent of BMWs made between mid 70s and 93 have that combo. :rofl
