So when i floor jack my E60 i have no spot to put the jack stands. Where is a good spot to put jack stands? under the control arm? I am asking this because i jack it from the plastic point. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I built wood ramps to drive up on. But if I need to get the car off the ground and get the wheels off, I will drive up onto a single piece of 2x10 under one front wheel to get my floor jack under the front bumper for clearance. There is a lift point with a lift pad on for the front. I f you crotch down from the front you should be able to see it. For the rear I jack up from the rear differential just make sure you get the differential not the differential cooling fins.. I typically lift the front first the the rear.:redspot

Cool, yea I thought I saw a lift point way by behind the splash shield... I was too scared to try it though. Is this what you are referring to?
