I wanna put a rpi scoop In my BMW but don't really kno how effective it is to the car as far as speed,aceleration,and horse power does it really work ?

These cars aren't tunable much if anything. If you look most of the high priced software with all these mods gives you very little in return. You honestly have a great car from the factory. I cant justify paying $800 for 5 hp in reality. the best mod for the money is the sport mode mod. Our cars light up with it. I added it to mine and it is a different car, though it gets about 9mpg with a heavy foot :).

These cars aren't tunable much if anything.
The 550i is an excellent tuning platform. Just not a cheap/economical one.

I think that is exactly what makes it a bad tuning platform. Lets be honest, the only option that is worth any amount of effort or money is supercharging. and that cost $8-9500 depending which model you get. ESS TS1 or TS2. Is 100 HP worth $8k, ya not too sure about that. The x35 turbos you can put an $1800 tune that will do the same. Sounds like the preferred tuning platform to me.
