Is there a remote amp turn on or ignition wire in the trunk I can tap for an amp? I forgot to run one from the head unit and I don't want to have to pull it all out again. Is there a wire on my rear OEM amp I can tap?

Im too tired to look at wiring diagrams. But theoretically if you hook up the remote wire on your new head units harness to the remote wire on the cars factory harness, then you should be able to find the remote wire to the factory amp in the trunk and run a wire from it to your amp.

If you were running that radio with your stock amp, just extend that remote wire instead. No difference as long as it is coming from the radio. Any 12v source will work. Just remember to use a fuse. I would do that over digging through a factory harness and tapping it.

I deleted my stock amp. I use thr WHITE remote wire from the stock amp for my new amp.

Yeah, extend it from your factory am, that's what I was referring to. And absolutely fuse your new amp, fuse the main power wire from the battery as close as possible to the batter, and make sure the fuse is the correct size for your amp. Don't EVER install an aftermarket amp without a fuse.

How would you extend it?
