Servotronic malfuntion

I'm having this message show up on my BMW 550i 08 sport pkg sometimes it comes on then some times it don't , when it do come on the steering wheel gets real tight and it's hard to even park it's real annoying ...does anyone have a clue about a servotronic malfuntion

Check the hydraulic fluid level,, its possible it might be low.

I did check it still came on it was also topped off

Do u have any idea how much is a steering angle sensor??? And can it be something else other than that??,

Not sure what it costs i heard between 800 and 1,000 bucks.. Thats the only thing that ive read about that fixed that issue. I guess there maybe some thing else but dont really know. Ive read that there is a led lense that gets dirty and possible to clean.. There is a thread on that but cant remember which one. I think im going to have this issue because last weekend my dtc light stuck on and i got a active steering drive moderatly warning. when i was driving my car pretty hard carving corners up in the mountains.. but after i shut the car off it would reset then come back on. But it has not come back on during normal driving...
