slight bogging issue, need some advice

My e36 is starting to bog down slightly. Seems to be noticeable when immediately shifting into 2nd and/or 3rd gear. It's moderate and intermittent but irritating. My cars' a 94 and only has 52k miles on it. Any ideas??

Vanos or plugs or inspectors or a hundred other items. Low octane gas

I've never run low octane in her and I changed the plugs recently. I guess it's time to start learning about vanos...
