I got a pair of Privat Remember's (BBS RS Reps) for really cheap, they are 16x7...I was wondering what your opinions would be if I went an inch higher in the rear so that I could also go wider...The 16" Remember wheels only come in 7" but the 17" come in 8" and 9".

Should I just grab another pair of 16x7 or should I grab 17x8 or 17x9 for the rear...or would that look ugly?

Car is a 1991 318is lowered a little

id keep it 16 with maybe spacers in the back to make it poke a lil, but thats just me.
or just get a whole different set of 17s all the way around staggered??

Keep it all 16 eh? You don't think 7" is a little too skinny and staggered diameters would look silly?

No it wouldn't look silly. In-fact your car might look stylish. It will be more safe to have 17x8 or 17x9 tires on your car. It will provide more binding with the road.

Looks like I'll be going 16x7 all around, the Remembers do come any larger in our bolt pattern

That was my thought too! A bit more rake, which is nice o E30's
