Giving up run flat tyres

Hi all.I am a newbie here.Thank you all for all the wonderful tips on BMWs.Really appreciate your researches.
I have a 2005 645CI.I am considering changing the run flat tyres to conventional ones as they are expensive and unconfortable on the ride.
Can anyone give some opinions whether I can change the run flats 2 at a time,first front tyres then rear ones later?Is it dangerous to do that or will the handling be compensated?Thank you.

IMO, For optimal handling, the tires should be identical all the way around. Otherwise, you may have different amounts of grip (among other factors) from the front to the back.

I don't see that it would hurt anything, but if you are worried about handling then it probably ill have some sort of effect.
