Quick offset question

The options for hub-centric Beyern Mesh 17" wheels on my e36 are 30mm offset or 40mm offset? Which one will look deeper or have more of a dish effect, and which ones will fit closer to stock?

well offsets mean nothing without knowing the wheel width...

I am not sure what you do have but 40mm is better.
