Is 225/40/18 too small for a 18 x 8.5 rim??

it should fit just right.

The tire will not provide much rim protection and runs a bit narrow on the 18x8.5. Still, is should be fine and is the fitment on a pair of my wheels.

I got them mounted and they seem alittle narrow. I was just wondering because it looks weird because its stretched over the rim. Thanks

I have 225/40/18 so3 on my front and they fit fine and have plenty of rim protection.
