My friend got me a deal!!!

My friend's friend is selling his 97 528 e39 in the summer with celis tailights and angel eye lights installed on too. The steering wheel has buttons, so i'm guessing that the car is full options. No info. about the engine condition, neither about the interior. But what i liked the most is that the owner just got a set of brand new rims installed on the car, what my friend told me is that they're the exact rims on the Ferrari in Bad Boys 2.

What do you all think? Isn't that a good deal or what? I'm gonna be checking it out soon. So we'll see what'll happen from there.

a quick search on Autotrader.com shows that asking price around here for that acr varies from $10,500-$19,200

The wheels on the Ferrari looks like the stock Ferrari wheels - you might find out what the wheels you're getting are.

The lighting update is worth maybe $1000 tops.

In short, the price sounds high, but I can't really say without info re mileage and condition.

Just make sure you have it gone over by a mechanic prior to purchase.

I would pay a little bit more and get a 540i 6speed

Man a 540 gulps the gas like crazy, and the gas prices where i'm from are very expensive. I'm not willing to spend my pocket money on gas ;) u know what i mean, i'm gonna be a freshman in uni. next year. So this is my first year driving a car and being responsible for it. So I believe a 528 is kinda average.
