Simple question. Will ANY of these work to fit 6.5 speakers? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i171_speaker-adapter-brackets.html
Or perhaps these??? http://store.12velectronics.com/products/BMW-E39-Front-Speaker-Mounts.html

if you just insist on doing 6.5" speakers, use these. Xscorpion SP-AD6054.12

there are plenty of 5.25 options out there. you just have to find them. infinity and focal are my two personal favorites. my distributor recently picked up orion and has been raving about their high end 5.25" component set. im tempted to get them but ive never been a fan of orion anything.

that one from 12volt is good,i have read some posts from e39 section from guys who used them, but enclosure also good you just need to find good speaker 5,25 that plays in enclosure, and maybe modified that factory plastic to be better and add some good amplifier and with right filters and it should be good,i also heard that factory midbass can do very well,if using right filters(crossover) and different amplifier.

Frankly, I'd rather have 5.25"s that fit in the stock enclosure, than an open air 6.5... power and the right crossover make up the difference.

Just making this so I can post my audio install and upgrades from time to time. The subs are kicker cvr's and I haven't decided what door speakers to install yet so stay tune.

Got the sub box in the trunk
