I was looking at the fuel filter today and noticed no pressure regulator was attached to it:eek:, like it shows in the Bentley manual, it was a bosch. I've ran into a lot of questionable repair's from the previous owner:confused, I have a no start issue right now could this cause it.
Thank you :D
The regulator is on the back of the fuel rail on the motor. Check the next page of the Bentley to see it.

Also I don't really think the fuel pressure regulator could cause a no-start scenario all by itself - it could cause it to run a little rich or lean, but wouldn't stop it from starting altogether.

It's most likely going to be your crank sensor. They only last 10-15 years anyway so a new one wouldnt hurt. You should probably start looking into getting some diagnostic stuff running.
