Yes, 18" E65 Style 94's with 245x50x18 tires are a perfect bolt on to an E38 740iL

In another thread I was trying to decide whether to go with 17" Style 19's or 18" Style 94's and wasn't 100% certain they were a direct perfect bolt on. In searching, I was able to find some pics of e38's with them on, but didn't know whether or not hubcentric rings or spacers were needed. The e65 uses a 5x120 bolt pattern and the offset is 24mm versus 23mm which is the stock e38 offset and so 1mm doesn't make any real difference. The hub is the same size and so no hub rings are needed. The wheels bolt right on. I also didn't know if there was any issue with the tire size. The stock size e65 245/50/18 tires fit perfectly. One thing that I think might be different is that I was given a set of lugs which were too thick for the e38 threads. I don't know if the lugs were from an e65, or some other car. I ultimately used my stock lugs which I will swap out soon for some nicer looking lugs with locks. I figured I would put together a thread here for anyone out in the interwebs who may try to Google info or photos of e65 Style 94's on an e38. Thank you to all who offered input on the other thread to say they fit perfectly and would look great.

Yea, E65 has different bolt size and thread. It's M14x1,25 on E65.

E38 has M12x1,5.
