NEED HELP! Info about fitment and suggestions for E90 wheels... ready GO!

Just got a new (to me) e90 and I'm thinking about getting some wheels. Car is Navy Blue and I do plan to tint the windows and black out the kidneys or go CF as well. Other than that probably going to leave it stock unless I can find a cheap H & R Sport/Bilstein suspension setup. What suggestions do you guys have?

Should I go 17's or 18's?

What is the best offset fitment?

What offset if I wanted to stagger front and rear?

Please include a link or pic if suggesting a specific wheel... thanks in advance for your help...
