Well I currently have a set of Style 5s on my car that are in really rough shape.

So over the winter I plan to re-finish them properly. But for the mean time I would like them to look a bit better. So when a friend plasti-dipped (plasti-dipped is it now a verb I take it) his rims on his Lancer and it got me thinking, that maybe I will do the same. I like the idea that it is not a permanent solution and I could change it afterwards. But now comes my problem. What color do I plasti-dip them?

I was told I can only get red, white and black in my area so can I then paint the white plasti dip the color of my choice?

What I was thinking was ether

- All black
- Silver lip and gold center
- I always liked lime/grabber green
- All silver with three nuts painted in the M red white and blues

If anyone has any cool ideas I will also consider them.

Just start to take them apart, i bought mine and the guy that sold them to me "plasti dipped" one and it was a btch to take off specially in the lil corners.

but if youre set on pdipping, i would say all white and black bolts. just make sure you spray them with more than 3 coats, so itd be easier to peel off.

I plasti dipped my stock rims, but before I went to a car meet, I thought I'd make my tires nice and shiny.... The tire shine ended up making my plastidip like paper and by just touching the plastidip it would pretty much flake off. If you want to take it off at a later time, just toss on some tire shine haha
