View Full Version : Car still runs after the key is pulled

I'm dumbfounded on what to look for to solve this issue. My ignition switch is ok. I've taken the trim off to see if I can find an obvious wire issue and haven't found anything. I basically have to stall the car then unhook the battery.

The tumbler section? I got a new tumbler but can't get the old one out to save my life. I've read and watch videos with pitting a pin in but won't budge.

So you took the ignition switch off and you check the resistance between the key positions?
