The monthly Louisville area Cars & Coffee event is coming up this Saturday and I thought it would be great if we could get some people together and roll in as a group.

The cars and coffee is officially 9-11am (though I think it goes longer) at Captains Quarters off River Road. The address is:

5700 Captains Quarters Rd
Prospect, Kentucky 40059

What I had in mind is all of us meeting up at the Shell gas station on the corner of River Rd and Zorn Ave. (3002 River Rd, Louisville, KY), It is right off 71 and very close to the spaghetti junction so it's easy to get to. It's a straight shot from here to Captains Quarters (about 5 miles down River Road with only 1 light I can think of so chances of getting split up are slim to none). Would you guys be down to meet here between 8 and 8:45 and then drive down to C&C?

It's been a couple of years since I went to one of these (back when I had my white e36, and when the event was held at a different location) ... I think it would be cool to put faces to some usernames and roll in to this with a bunch of other e36s).

I have PMed the people I know live in the area, but I just thought I'd post it here in case someone didn't see their PMs or if there is someone I missed. So far, I have gotten response from EE05063 and boostedwolfie ... the more the merrier.

Well you have a whole day ahead of you and I know autozone has idlers :D

But e30 works too :) Hope to see you there if you can make it, regardless of car!

I could not believe what i was seeing. The belt was rubbing over what was left of the center of the pulley. No squeal at all. Not sure when it even happened.

O_O sounds pretty wild. I've seen a few get the death wobble, but I've never seen one actually fall apart!

^ Looks horrible! Glad it's all fixed now.

Well, it ended up being only 3 of us off the forum ... myself, MikeUSMC and EE05063; saw one more e36 but we didn't get to talk to the guy.

Great time, lots of cool cars, lots of cool people ... look forward to more of these in the future.
