Hey Guys,

I just wanted to give you a preview of the NEW MaxVelocity MINI Cooper S, cold air intake. We are not ready to release numbers yet, but let me say that they are very good :buttrock . The system looks and works great.

There is more information about this intake on our website. Under MINI Cooper. The intake should be out at the end of this month. The price will be very competitive. If you register on our site, we will inform you as soon as it will be released for sale. Most likely there will be a group buy set up.

Roman,

Will you also offer an intake kit for a (non-S) Cooper?

G.P. - that is definitely one of the plans. I have a two other projects I need to finish before hand. If you know of someone in the SF bay area (preferrably in the east bay) that has a non-S MINI and would let me take measurements, etc, I could start working on one in the next month. I would ofcourse make it worth their while. ;)

I drove the test car (Grey MINI Cooper S) today and it is simply amazing! Throttle response is a LOT better and it just wants to keep pulling and pulling. I will post pictures today of the installed kit.

Sorry, Roman, but I'm over on the East Coast and don't know anyone in the SF area who has a Cooper. If you haven't already done so, you could go fishing for a local test car by posting in the regional forum on the MINI2 board (http://www.mini2.com/forum/). I'm not sure of the rules for vendors on that board.

i may be interested in a Non-S intake as well. too bad i live on the east coast also or i'd be more than willing to let you test it out on my car.

i've noticed that throttle response is pretty bad on my mini. this would help lots. :)

yeh - it was a VERY impressive change in the throttle response. I didn't get that sort of change on my M3 even with intake, UD pulleys, and intake manifold. That engine revs super quick now.
