Dinan mods for E39 expensive

I suppose that is to expected. I was accustomed to 3-series prices and had some sticker shock for price of 5-series mods.

I just need to make more money.....

Anything with DINAN on it is expensive. They charge you twice as much because if something breaks, they can afford to warranty replace it for free.

they give u a warranty backed by the dealer
though, kinda liek neuspeed and vw have

Can anyone recommend a Northern CA shop that does good work on other E39 mods besides Dinan? I looked at Dinan by default because they are nearby and known quantity (my friend's M3 was Dinan moded up the wazoo).

Dinan will look for every excuse not to cover it under the warranty.
