Ok, so me and Jensen were talking about organizing another 5er meet when i come out this summer but came across a little problem.

We've decided you guys have to pick the meeting spot this summer.
From what i know angeles crest was good but let's go somewhere else.

So choose.

----
We're talking so-cal here.
You northerners are welcome, but we have something else in plan for you guys. :D

it's on again fellas. we're looking at late July or early August. personally i've done the angeles crest meet twice and want something new and exciting. we tried to do a malibu one a year ago, but it got overrun by an idiot.

all ideas are welcome, including meeting spots, and even dates.

*note: everyone may not be satisfied with the meeting arrangements. we will try to include as many as possible, however. :D

Don't forget Oktoberfest in Pasadena starts July 5. I'll be spearheading a E34M5 car corral.

dan, no problem. we were thinking of a month later. the reason for the timing, just so everyone knows is, Olek (525iT_Feen) is coming to visit us in california from boston; for the second time! he is the ultimate enthusiast. plus it's his birthday and he wanted a party, so i said we'd have a 5er meet for him :)

when we do decide on meeting specifics, could you talk to and invite all the E34 guys you know down there? i'm sure we can make this a bigger meet than the 20 cars we had for angeles crest. maybe even think about turning it into a festival or something to celebrate the 5.

That's right, i'm shooting to be in CA late July. I can't make it any earlier due to a wedding.

It's up to you guys(and Jensen) on where you wanna do it. I'll be riding with him anyway, so just come up with some good spots.

Wasn't there a death at last years Malibu meet?

hmm, sorry little buddy. not ours. there were a few fixit tickets given out through the hills, but nothing bad like an accident. we don't have accidents on these meets...most of the time :devillook

I just remember there being a huge meet and a guy burning to death after a car rolled over(R.I.P)

This meet is anti-idiot!

Come on guys lets put our heads together and make this into something big its my birthday too so we got to have a festival. Ill bring the girls and the liquior. For location depends on what you guys want to be doing. We could do it at a park have a BBQ and everything, ill be down to make Armenian BBQ (best in world) if everyone just pays me for costs of meat. Alot of my 5er friends will join us as well for now I can say about 5 of them will come maybe more later.

gugo, we are driving very nice automobiles and i personally don't mix drinks and driving. i'm sure i speak for everyone here when i say we do not want to have drinks at the meet. and also, since we are responsible citizens, we would not ever solicit alcohol to minors :D

stay home if you want to drink.

04-18-2004, 07:29 PM
Clam down fellas I was just messing around I dont drink and drive and 525it_feen I got russian blood in me ive been drinking since age 12 :-D. For a place we could do it at Dana Point its a park/campsite/beach its big park big parking lot I think we can talk to security so we wont have any problems. My 2 cents.

I think that would be ok if you all weren't up for a real long drive and more into hanging and chilling out. A cruise around the hill would be about 45 mins including a blast up the switchbacks. But hey I'm open to anything.

Im up for anything just as long as alot more then just 20 cars show up. Mblast never seen anyone quote themselves on a forum before lol.

45 mins, hmm...is that how long it takes you? i dont have to tell you but most drivers aren't as skilled or have the autos that can keep you and your beautiful machine; aside from myself that of course.

that would be cool to have a lot of hang out time. party at your place then! :alright
