Hi all,

was helping a friend of mine change her wheels and tires the other day and due to the fact that her jack points are missing (I didn't know that until I got to her place with my tools; this was the first time I've ever tried to do anything to her car) I managed to damage one of her side skirts. She was very gracious about it and I already helped her order new jack points and also all of the items that were missing from her trunk (sunroof tool, wheel chock, stuff like that) while we were at it. However I still feel responsible because I went ahead and jacked the car up even though everything wasn't in top shape. I'm hoping one of you fine people can help me out, I'm looking for the driver's side skirt for a 2001 E46 sedan with the M aerodynamics package S715A, preferably painted Titansilber Metallic (354).

She also needs a new shift knob, if you have one that you've removed to upgrade to a better knob, she needs a woodgrain 5-speed knob I believe part no. 25111434497 which is "Myrtle" however I can't 100% confirm that; I can tell you that per the VIN decoder her interior trim code is S438A but it does not tell me which woodgrain that is. I think she'd also be happy with a good-condition black leather 5-speed knob, but she does *not* want one with the "M" logo on it because she says "it wouldn't be right because I have a 330 not an M-car." (there's a reason I like her <G>) Just need something in good condition, hers has been cracked and loose since before she bought the car and she hasn't seriously pursued fixing it, if I can get one for her that might make a nice apology.

Let me know what you have, and thanks for reading!

Still looking, please don't make me pay retail for a side skirt and then have to have it painted :(

I've got a search set up on eFlay, haven't got anything yet...

Car probably needs a LF door shell as well if anyone in NoVA/MD/DC has one. Car was driven in Germany for a few years, she had the door repainted a few years ago but apparently the salt got inside and is popping the seam where the skin is folded over.
