You guys have been real helpful in my search for rims.
I had to turn down alot because of the fitment issues with the advise from members.

Here's my new situation:

The original listing was regarding rims for a E39.....someone with a '91 E34 purchased them & they fit with no problem.
Do E34 & E39's have the same offset?
You think these rims were actually for an E39?

Thanks in advance once again! :D

Yes, same offset, but the center bore is BIGGER on a E39, so they will not fit. You can fit E39 wheels on a E34 by getting center bore rings.

Thanks for the reply..
I'll ask this guy if he was running center bore rings for them to fit his E34.

The original owner contacted me & said they were originally on his 2001 M5.

Thanks again...

The E39 hubs are 2mm bigger than most other Bimmer's out there. The E39 is the old ball of the bunch. You can get the wheels borred out by a machine shop that uses CAD. Shouldn't cost more than $80 to do all four wheels.
