We are finally in need of new tires for our beloved X5d. We bought it CPO with new tires (Bridgestone RF's I think). Either way its time to replace them and I am looking for something non runflat (heavy, loud) and possibly a bit more winter bite. Here is my current Tire Rack wish list selection.

Any advice? Experience with any of these tires?

I am fan of General just from using them in the past on cars/trucks (not SUV) as well as the Goodyear on my wifes previous car. I don't have any experience with the Pirelli but it gets good reviews and I have always heard good things about the Yokohama.

I had Toyo Proxes ST IIs on my X5 (now sold). They were a great tire - very reasonably priced, quiet, and amazing treadwear (I drove 10k+ miles and they looked brand new). Without a doubt I would get them again for another SUV. The sidewall is a little soft for my liking, so cornering wasn't as much fun... but overall for an SUV they were more than effective. Toyo tires are not sold at TireRack but they are sold just about everywhere else. I got all 4 (mine were 315s and 275s on a 20") for around $900 shipped... so if they make them in your size you should be looking at $750ish?
