has anyone done anything other than painting/powder coating their calipers to make them look a bit better? ive heard and seen the brembo covers, but i find that cheesy to say the least. any air brushing, mono gramming...?

It's funny, when I started reading your post, I got up to "other than painting/powder" and my brain started thinking up possible sarcastic responses like "airbrushed flowers". No lie. I don't know what you're really looking for on your brakes, but I don't really expect anything like an airbrush will stand the test of time and heat. You'd have to get the caliper clean clean, then paint it, then airbrush it, then clear it again. Lots of paint on there, and it would probably yellow with heat and time.

Monogramming? Are you driving around with a tophat and monocle? What type of monogram did you have in mind? You really won't see anything like that when you're driving down the road...

I had the idea to put "BMW" on the caliper. The way they're designed, it wont fit. They're already painted silver but as I mentioned in Another post earlier, I'm getting bored and want to change some things up.

Why won't it fit....

Yeah, who says "BMW" won't fit?

I stand corrected. I guess I can redo mine then and go with my original idea.

I addressed the root problem by replacing my calipers with flower arrangements...it's super, thanks for asking :)

Yup, added eBay Brembo decals to the factory caliper (Euro car):

It seems the 728 has totally different calipers from the 740.

Yup, same with euro 735s too.

They're the same calipers from the Ferrari F40, fun fact!

Nice. I like that style caliper. I would mind converting.
