i tackled the first problem on my new to me 99 vert. noticed the fan wasn't blowing and researched and studied and found the first to replace is fsu. contorted myself tp get under the driver side dash and found that that the hole the final stage unit sits in was full of a 14 year accumulation of leaves. sucked out as many as i could and put in the new unit. alas...i now have cold ass a/c blowing in my face. so nice to accomplish something with the help of all the experts here on bimmer forums. on to the next one...
