Need Help: Changing VIN from an used MK4 with Toolset32

Hello bimmers,

I had a problem with my MK4 so I bought a used one on eBay.
After I put it in my car I got a black screen on my Navi Prof.

So I need to change the VIN of the used one with my VIN to get it work.

Can smb tell how I can do it?

Nav. Professional + Radio Professional + MK4 (<- damaged)

Other Car:
Nav. Business + Radio Business + MK4 (<- I bought this one and put it in my car) --> Now i have a black screen on my Professional Display

Preface: (I have no idea) I avoid NAV/Radio questions like the plague.

But this is news to me that NAV systems are VIN specific, and must be coded.

The used MK4 was connected with a Business Radio.
I have a Radio Prof. so I thought the blackscreen is caused by this.

So..you have changed the radio also?

Im sure that change requires a recode of the car to add functionality...but still no VIN change.

But again, Im no NAV/Radio guru.
