P1030 is a generic SAE code generated from a standard SCAN tool. P codes are not the best way to troubleshoot this car as they often cover a range of more specific BMW digital/hex codes. I suggest you connect your car to INPA and get the BMW specific code or this is the best that you will get http://engine-codes.com/p1030_bmw.html

Besides, people that can't seem to be bothered to type full comprehensible words need not be working on their cars.
