on board dash sports line question

I am in Canada and I am getting mixed answers to my simple question.

I've narrowed my search to the following:

2012/2013 328i

- Sedan
- Must be MANUAL
- black on black or black on grey
- Sports Line

Regarding the sports line I've spoken to 3 different dealers and 2 of them said if I get the 328 with the sports line the on-board dash is a standard feature and it's just a matter of getting the navigation system (which has a bigger screen). I spoke to another dealer and they said it's not a standard feature on the sports line.


The only thing I can think of is that on the 2012 sports line model it wasn't a standard feature and now with the 2013 it is. If that's the case then I will clearly buy the 2013 model.

Does someone know?

Oh and by the way if anyone is selling a 2013 with the above specs please let me know. I know it's early since it's only May but I can't even find a 2012 in Manual transmission.

On board dash? Are you talking about the 6.5" standard I-Drive screen?

Yes I spoke to another dealership and he told me it's a standard feature and it doesn't matter the size of the screen since if you get the Navi there's just another button added on which I was told different. If you don't get the Navi the screen is a bit smaller. anyway I wanted to get a used BMW but I can't find anything in Manual transmission so I will have to get a new one.

I have yet to see an F30 offered in any country that did not come with the standard 6.5" screen.

It was probably 2012 models then that wasn't a standard feature. Well thanks for the info. I'll post my vehicle when I get it.

'12 sedan was still the F30. I will say it again, I have NEVER seen an F30 without the standard 6.5" screen, I do not think they make a dash without a screen.
