Has anyone had to replace this? Where can I get leather or vinyl to replace this. Mine is ripped up pretty good.

It is vinyl, not leather. To find the part, one has but to search.

Huh I didn't think there was an actual part. I thought it was just a piece leather the glues on. Thanks man.

Well, you're half right. It does glue into place but it is a separate / available piece. I've replaced these on E30 Convertibles before due to wanting to change the color of an interior. It is ridiculously simple to install. Currently these are about four E36 Boot Covers on eBay. They are for the whole assembly, not just the vinyl. However, they cost about the same as just the vinyl insert from BMW.

I did see that and I have found one that could be died black for $75 and the paint is the same color as my car so I'm going to go with that. Thanks again man!
