İ am about to buy a 2k7/2k-9 3.35i ( probably
the coupe because it weights less than the conv)
So i heard there were different kinds and i want the one with the most hp and torque ,
What i heard is that there are single turbos and bi/twin turbos and one more kind ,
İ need to know the 2 or 3 3.35 (2007+) engine types and their stats in hp / torque and acceleration , 0-100
,still not being sure i heard there is a 306hp version and a 350-375 hp version of the 3.35i
since i need the one with most hp and torque i need to know which one of the 3.35i engines has it . Sorry for my english . Thank you in advance .

At least for the USA, 2007-2010 335s (not 3.35, please stop that) have a twin turbo (2 small turbos) inline 6, N54, that makes 300hp/300torq. 0-60mph is low as 4.8 seconds stock.

For 2011 the N54 engine was replaced by the N55 which is a single (twin-screw) inline 6 that makes 300hp/300torq. 0-60mph is 4.8 seconds stock (http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/bmw-3-series-review-2011-bmw-335i-sedan-test).

And again, its 335. There is no period (.) between the two 3s.

what i am trying to learn is if all 35i 2007s are twin turbo . cuz i seen some cars on the site where we buy cars some 335s with 301-325 ( the 306 hp ones i assume ) and 2 that say in the title twin turbo and have 350-375 hp range .
eccept the 2011+ 335i are all the 2007- 2011 s twin turbo ? and same hp etc ?

Stock (from the factory) they all make 300hp/300torq, but there is minuet variations that come from manufacturing. The most power a 335 makes from the factory is the 320hp 335is.

Correct. If you really like torque you can always look into a diesel 335, a 335d (if offered in your country). The Euro 335d makes 282hp and 428torq, but I'm not sure if you can get one in a coupe.

what the heck are you bumping? What exactly are you trying to find out here?

The N54 engine is a twin turbo inline 6 cylinder engine. By twin turbo, that means there is one turbo essentially feeding 3 cylinders(flow) and one turbo feeding the remaining 3 cylinders. The N55 engine is really one turbo, just has two impellers.

I don't see what else there is to discuss here?
