i listened to all of those and none of them where what i would want. I guess the one i hear is really on on a rally car for a reason. prototype or some shit. the car that i heard it on that was the best was an 80's audi quattro pikes peak rally car.
heres a prettly long video but its REAL good this is the BOV that i would like but i dont know if it is possible to own. http://www.roehrl-walter.de/videos/

I think that sounds like compressor surge to me..
It is that fluttering sound towards the end.. You can get that from any adjustable aftermarket BOV, just make it really tight. But then, you gotta be prepares to say goodbye to your turbo.
I have HKS SSQV on my supra and TurboXS Type H on my dsm..

Greddy type R, HKS SSQV or HKS Racing bov, they all flutter like what you are talking about.

WRC cars also have an anti lag system. That is partially what you are hearing.

I really liked the Greddy Bov in the Supra engine...but I heared it again installed (video) in the Celica Turbo, and both sounds were different even when both BOV were the same..I have the APexi and I like it, very loud!

If you listen to the high hp cars like the high hp Supras, they usually all have that flutter sound. If you have a really good turbo, especially dual ball bearing, you don't have to worry about that. With high hp you really only need the BOV to release most or all of the pressure in the higher PSI levels. It sounds like you are looking for more of a sound than anything. As noted, different turbo applications can make the same BOV sound different. For low boost turbo applications, the Greddy Type S is the coolest sound I have come accross!! But that is just personal taste.

So how come my bosch dump valve makes no noise at all? Is it not working? Or is it the way its plumbed?

I would imagine it's the way it's plumbed. Your HFM looks to be before the S/C like it should be before the turbo in turbo application. From what I have heard, using the stock DME, it must be plumbed back in otherwise it messes up the signals from the HFM & will throw a light. I don't know much about S/Cs & especially BOVs with S/Cs, sorry.

Right.. so are the blow off valves we heard in that link all venting to atmoshpere, and is That why we're hearing them so prominently? I can see that, except for those folks who have the AA sc kits, they also make an audible Hiss, similar to the BO valves in the link, and theyre plumbed back into pre SC pipe.

All high turbo applications will vent to atmosphere so you hear a loud whistle or air dump sound.
I am not sure about the sound from the AA S/C kits. Maybe they get away with something there cause I wouldn't think there wouldn't be any noise if it's not dumping to atmosphere. Unless the noise is coming from within the air filter. But that's just a guess. Probably should call AA or maybe an AA S/C member can chime in here.

Its the way it sounds, we put a bosch on my friends sr20det 240sx open and it actually sounded pretty cool. But you can't really run a bosch open unless you have a map sensor because they arent adjustable and would be open at idle all the time.
