Replacing Top Drive Motor

As title! I'm trying to replace the roof drive motor, but I'm unable to remove the 'S' shaped bar on the top.

Does anyone know if it is just supposed to lift out or unscrew? Cause the screw in the middle of mine will not budge!

That screw is a tiny torx screw. Once that is out remove the washer or washers (I think there are 2 washers). The S arm lifts straight up. It might be hard to get started but once it breaks free it pops out easily. My suggestion is to get a new torx screw right now so you have it when you put things back together. That S bar is keyed so it only goes back on one way. If it doesn't slide right in don't force it. Keep turning it around till it drops in.

If that torx screw is stripped then drill the head off.
