Looking for a daily driver wagon and I came across someone who was selling their touring wagon. The car has been obviosly well used and has had some stuff done, but will need addtional work to be a good car for myself. The car has 200k, the head gasket was replaced one year ago. The suspension seems like it has had better days, I suspect control arms and struts. The sunroof leaks, but works, hopefully it just needs to be blown out with compressed air. Both rear window regulators are inoperable, and the back window of the tailgate does not open. With these issues, is this a car I should buy and fix the stuff on or one I should run away from? Oh, the heater is always on too. Thanks for any information, Nick.

Sorry, it's a 1993.

It all depends on the price, really. From your description, it doesn't sound like it's worth much. M50 E34s are generally pretty bulletproof, though, and all the stuff you listed can be fixed with some money, time and a little patience.

If the sunroof leaks I'd be a little concerned about interior water damage / mildew, and of course check for rust along the bottoms of the doors and around the rocker panels.

I wouldn't pay much for it, it sounds like its best for parts IMO
