Well guys I want to thank you for your insight, your help, and your time with me and my 93 525iT. I could no longer shovel money into it so I took the leap and found a great deal on a 05 Subaru Forester. I do have some parts left over if any one is interested. Those include a tan dashboard, steering wheel with airbag, driver's door window regulator, carbon cabin filter, elipsoids, and a Pro Clip cell phone holder.

Hearing about trades makes me so sad...they couldn't have given you even half what you could have sold it for. And now it will die in the hands of someone who won't appreciate it, likely after going to auction. :( It was your choice though, and hopefully it works out for you in the end.

Lesbo-wagons just don't do it for me. I can totally understand the frustration with older cars however... which is why i have a bunch of them. One doesn't work, just get in another, i just like to play the odds.

You are so so right. I hated it because I couldn't get anything close to what I wanted it for but, I couldn't pass up the deal on the Subbie. I also could not have 3 cars either because that is just ridiculous. I had the sale of the Touring slip throw my hands several times because people were just to finicky.

There is a pretty good reson SLC is full of them. They're relaible and good at what they were designed to do. With your mini as your "fun" car it's a good second car.

I've got a buddy converting a legacy outback to a drift car, it's currently RWD with a WRX swap+ mods. He wants one of these as a tow car after seeing this:

I had to back up and look to see if the f/s sub was really closed. You almost made me do a rage quit on this forum.
