Does the dealership ever give a discount on extended warranty?
$4270 buys a 7 year / 100k mile extension warranty.
Service guy says that no discount when buying extended warranty because the price needs to be uniform across all dealerships... (Sounds like bs)
Can anyone share any discounts they have received when purchasing the extended warranty?? Or any freebies received upon purchase?

Absolute BS!! An "Extended warranty" is nothing more than an insurance policy, and it has markup. The reason that every store in every business offers you an extended warranty is that they make a profit on the sale of each policy.
ABSOLUTELY they can discount it! I bought a 2009 328 ix a couple of months ago. It was a more expensive car than I planned on, but a great vehicle and also a better fit for our needs. I straight out asked them to discount an exteneded warranty for me. I normally don't buy them, but on this vehicle I thought it would make sense.
For $4000 there is no way I would buy one. I doubt I will need to spend $4000 on repairs to any low mileage car within the first 100K miles. However, I do simple stuff like brakes myself.
Remember, it's an insurance policy. The company issuing it is betting that they will spend LESS on repairs than the premium you are paying. You are betting that they WILL have to spend more - or there's no point in buying the policy. Now, consider that they are working from actuarial tables and know a lot more than you do about the reliability record of the vehicle. That should tell you something.
Your answer: dealerships discount warranties ALL THE TIME. They can cut hundreds of dollars off the cost and still make money.
If you feel brave, ask them to show you what the warranty costs them and offer to pay $200 above that.

Yeah I extended my warranty to 100k and the finance guy gave me a discount and added paint protection tire protection and some kind of deduct able basically he took of 800 and added that stuff. So they can give you discounts.

Utter garbage. I've seen prices as low as $2500 for the 6-year-100K warranty quoted (I've never seen 7 year BTW). You can buy a BMW warranty anywhere and get the work done anywhere, so shop around - look online. Try Tischer, or Daniel @ Pacific BMW.

My dealer here in San Antonio is know to be expensive compared to Houston and Austin. I called them and was quoted 2800 for 100k/6y with idrive coverage.
