View Full Version : 2009 BMW 335D need help with cooling fan relay

Hello guys,
I am brand new to the forum, and I hope someone can help me

Bought this beautiful E90 diesel and can not wait to drive it.
I am looking for a picture of the fan relay, or information. Somehow the wires that send the signal to start and stop the fan are cut and missing the plug. Bought a new plug but I do not know the order of the wires. There is a brown/maroon and red/green wire which I do not know how they should be connected

I wish I can attach a picture, but since I am new to the forum I am not allowed

Cut wires always make my suspicious, in that "Why were those wires cut?".

On mine, the 10 gauge red goes to red, the 10 gauge brown to black, and the blue 18 gauge goes to white.

I figured it out
I Called the dealership and finally found someone there who know what the hell he's doing. The order of the wires does not matter pretty much but he gave me the exact order anyway
