just picked up a 335i convertible, can't seem to get the top to operate...

So I just took delivery of a 07 335i convertible and I can't seem to get the top to go down, any ideas?

I've actuated the top switch in the center console, and the BC cluster shows the icon for top actuation, but nothing happens with the top itself.

divider needs to be pulled down and click in place. also you need to hold the button all the time through the whole process (unless you have smarttop installed)

yeah...so apparently trunk divider... I never noticed it, but that was the key. You rule!
