I only recently purchased my first BMW and even more recently joined this forum so if this discussion has been done already I apologize and please point me in the right direction. I purchased a 2011 328i mainly because of its value and reliability. I did my research and saw that the 328 engine was almost bullet proof and because there was approximately a $5k-$10k difference between my car and the 335 so I chose the 328. After having it for several weeks I absolutely love the car. I love the way it looks and I love the way it drives. The only complaint I have is that it's a little slow. My previous car was a G37 which was immensely fast when you put your foot to the ground. I'm not huge on doing mods but I want to have a little more fun in my car. I'm not so worried about intake because I can always just switch out the intakes prior to taking the car to BMW if I needed to. The thing is though that I want more than the measly 3-5hp that a $400 intake will get you. So, what else can I do to squeeze as much power out of my car as possible without BMW being the wiser or with them fully knowing about it and still warranting the car.

There are virtually *NO* mods that will make the N52-powered cars significantly faster. There are many posts around on this, please use the search function.

That's not very helpful. I have searched and haven't been able to find anything. If you have a specific thread that would be a bit more productive.

What about BMW performance? I see that the do ECU tuning and exhaust. Is that worth the cost? Will the BMW performance tuning make a significant difference? Has anybody had it done to their vehicle?

Any idea of where I can find the 330 intake?
