Supraforums.com

Check under their classifieds. There's a sticky for a GB on Nitrous Express kits. Email the guy running it, he can get you those kits for some solid prices (35-40% off).

Don't blow your car up ;)

Hey,
i went to supraforums.com but no classified section.
I want a Nitrous Express EFI 1 stage kit for imports.
Anyone know another good place to get one for cheap?
Know where to get a polished bottle for cheap?

ReVshot,
The EFI import kit is one that will require a custom install... not that hard actually but you have to tap into the manifold to add the nozzle. It is adjustable with various nozzle tips. from 25-100shot.

www.nitrousexpress.com
they sell it at advance auto parts.
and probably at autozone and pepboys.

cool,
drill n tap eh.... im a tool and die maker but the thought of me tampering with my engine makes me nervous
better jus pay sumone to do it...
so the EFI nitrous kit for imports is what im looking for eh

You don't need to drill and tap the manifold unless you're going with a direct port setup. With a max of a 75 shot I'd do a fogger in the intake tract it's a lot easier for that small of a shot.

fogger shot eh?
im assuming thats where it mixes with the gas before it hits the combustion chamber?
im thinking by the throttle body?
is this a DIY job?

The EFI is a wet kit.
I think he is speaking of a dry kit when referring to running it through the intake ... but then again i imagine you could put the nozzle before the intake manifold... i just dont want to run it through the blower on my car.
I am getting aquamist to cool the blower so i just want the extra combustion at WOT.

I think that the EFI single stage Import kit is still my recommendation...
then get a remote opener and a purge valve and it would be a pretty neat setup.

Sorry for being vague....

Direct port shorts are usually shot into the intake runners, they provide the MOST tunabitily and precise mixing per cylinder. On larger shots you want to go with this method as it make sure the intended amount of nitrous and fuel makes it to a cylinder

Plate systems is something we really don't worry so we won't discuss

The last method is called the single fogger, heheh I missed single in my post above. YOu inject a wet shot (could be dry if you want) in the intake tract post MAF pre throttle body, it mixes the shot with the incoming air. The problem with this method is you can't guarentee equal distribution and there is the possiblity of fuel puddling. For smaller shots < 125 this method is fine for anything more you want the extra control of direct port or multi foggers.

i dont want n e thing more then a 75 shot.... so im guessing the fogger set up would be my best bet?

so it shoots nitrous into the air mixture before or after the throttle body?

how simple is this to install?
im pretty handy, built my trans am from ground up but this new technology stuff got me messed up, like im learnin how to build engines all over again!

You have to register as a member of supraforums and log on to view the classifieds listings. Check again, it's still there.

The kit you need is the Import Universal Single Stage EFI - 20923.

Check Jim Civer's website www.vb.quik/jmciver for a detailed writeup and explanation of a nitrous system for E36 cars.
