I have acquired a 1999 750il, it has been sitting since 2009, it will not start, here are the things I have done,
replaced the starter,(new) replaced the batterys (2 new) replaced the fuel pump,(new) fuel filters, spark plugs, I have a GT1 and have checked the codes non listed, the eml is stating that everything matches and the car is ready to start.
It cranks over, but does not sound right, seems to be slow, I have a spark,(checked at the plug leads), I have fuel spraying from the fuel injectors,(removed them from the intake and watched them spray) I have compression on all cylinders, all above 150psi, I drained the fuel tank and refilled with new fuel.
I have tried easy start in the intake, but nothing, it does not even cough.
The spark and fuel spray all seem to be in time with the cranking speed of the engine.
Any idea's?

Remove the belts and then try to start it... You might have a seized pulley that's preventing the engine from cranking fast enough.
Also even though your battery's new, check the voltage at the jump terminals under the hood, or jump it with a running vehicle while trying to start it. You have a lot of cylinders, and it's gonna require a lot of power to get it started.
Also, you might have flooded it at this point, so it might be a good idea to pull the plugs and put some oil in the cylinders. It'll raise the compression and help it to start.
You've done everything right to prepare it after sitting. Good luck...

Have you checked the starter/engine grounds?

I am guessing something along the lines of throttle body adaption needed

Crank ps on the trans bell housing? I know that if thats not working the engine will still crank, but it wont fire up. And if you have INPA you might be able to run acouple tests. Also get an accurate battery crank voltage reading, and do some adaptation work.

He has fuel, spark, and compression. It should run, or at least try to run.

If that is off, you lose the throttle function but the car will start and idle.

In GT1, see if you can see engine rpm as you're cranking the motor over.
Remove the air tubes and see if the throttle bodies work. Maybe they seized in there shut.

Thanks for all your suggestions, the GT1 says the engine is cranking at 120rpm, I have reset the adaptions, synchronized the throttle units, reset them to the engine computers, reset the engine power computer for the throttle position settings, they both work I have tested them with the GT1, the crank ps are working, I have also swapped them around, I have changed the coils and tested them, the plugs are new and not showing signs of being fowled, I have not checked the voltage at the terms under the bonnet, this model has 1 battery (900 cranking amps) dedicated to the starter, and another battery for the computers etc.

120 rpm is way too low

I believe the EWS module kills starter relay after at least 600-700rpm, that how it knows the engine has started.

Thanks for a look at your 750 work log great job. the one I have has only got 54k on it from new, wish it would run!!!!
I would replace one or both crank sensors if one is reading 120RPM. Were you able to read the other one?

Well, if he said that the engine seems to be turning over slow, then a low reading would be OK and not the issue. The issue is why is it turning over slow.
Have you tried jumping the under hood terminals with another car while cranking? Either the batteries are not putting out enough juice to the starter or something is dragging the engine down. Try turning it over with a wrench on the crank pulley bolt and see if it's really hard or pretty normal to turn over.

I have not tried to jump it under the hood, I will try that, both crank ps read the same for cranking rpm.
