2011 Bluetooth problem?

Just bought a 2011, 328i convertible. Every time I call someone they complain about road and wind noise, they can even hear my turn signal. The top is up and I'm usually on the highway @70ish. My wife has a 2012 Honda Pilot and the same phone sounds great. Anyone having problems with the Bluetooth phone quality in their E93, should I have this checked out, or is BMW BT phone just bad?

I have an iPhone 4, and a 2010 328 I convertible. With the top up, I've been told by folks on the other end the sound quality is great. OTOH, my daughter has the same phone in her 2008 Altima, and what I hear when she calls the house is your description above. Her previous phone, a Motorola RAZR, was 10 times clearer.

The lesson: a certain phone may sound great in one make, and horrible in another, its all in how the Bluetooth "ends" interact with each other.
