It looks like I might have to buy a cluster to test this thing out.

Needs to be from a car with a known working Diagnostic plug.

Needs to be a metric cluster.

Anyone?

Pretty sure I have the detached brain box from a '96 cluster but it will be miles and not KM. Came from a parts car. Does it really have to be metric for testing? You can have it for the cost of shipping if you want to give it a try.

Figured I might as well create a thread with a descriptive title. Anyone have one of these lying around? I'll take one with MPH too, I guess. I've heard tales of cheap pick-'n-pulls in the US, maybe someone can hook me up? Local wreckers here are too expensive.

Thanks!

Kms to Miles is just a coding change. Cluster is the SAME.

Nope.

My cluster has the km/h in big numbers, and no miles display.

Had a duh moment. If your "box" on the cluster is fine...then I would indeed try to get a early cluster.

Save you from having to code, manipulate, etc to get everything to work.

Tylers is a 98 so it doesnt have the "box".
