Hi,
i have both the above cars and have done for around 6-7 years. I'm wanting to sell one and really like the auto as the car is only used as a second vehicle and automatic handier for cruising about and for the wife also. I know the manual is a better drive but I'm not worried about that for the minute.
just looking opinions on what the general consensus is re reliability of the auto boxes vs manuals etc. the auto is a feb 1997 model and has been owned by me since 26k miles (now 102k) and the manual is a 1998 model owned since 76k (now 99k). Both have service history's.
what do you think.

i would also add that both are convertible in case the auto boxes differ at all
