Fog light question/suggestion.

I have a 2000 528i which originally used the rectangular shape fog lights on the stock front bumper cover.

The car had front end damaged so went to a local junk yard to find a used bumper got one for $75 in good condition I thought it was the the same as the the original one WRONG but only after I had I painted and mounted I came to realize that the original fog light did not longer fit appears the bumper was from a bmw 530i which uses a smaller different fog light assembly.

Question is what fog light can I buy that will fit this 530i bumper and will connect to my original connectors(the light bulb used in the 530 it's different from some reading I've done) so buying an oem will fit but connection it's different.

Is there maybe a harness adapter that could make it work ?

Yes if you find out the bulb size you can by the socket set from any auto parts store. You just have to cut off the old socket and splice the new one on. I think it's h8 or h7.

Thanks for the suggestion, I shall be looking for the sockets. I should be able to find the fog lights locally, Wonder if it will be any errors though.

I doubt it, but theirs only one to find out.
